The Career Choices Of Basketball Coach Yanni Hufnagel

Yanni Hufnagel is now thirty years old but he was once a Jewish kid in New York. He read coaching books and his basketball figurines became the players in the books he read. He worked for the television station in his town and called for the school games. he was a basketball manager when he attended Cornell University and interned with the New Jersey Nets. He was offered the position of assistant coach by Jeff Capel.

In 2009 Yanni Hufnagel receive a recommendation from Coach Capel for the head coach for Harvard. He was hired in the position of assistant coach and began recruiting players. His reputation in the world of basketball is excellent. In 2006 he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell and his Masters Degree followed in 2010. He has been the coach for numerous prestigious schools and is highly skilled as a recruiter. He has a talent for finding basketball players with a lot of talent.

Yanni Hufnagel coached Team USA in Israel for the 19th Maccabiah Games but refused an assistant coaching position. He was the assistant coach for Kevin Stallings for the Vanderbilt Commodores in 2013 and left after one season. He joined the California Golden Bears in 2014 and convinced Ivan Rabb and Jaylen Brown to become a part of the team. In 2016 he went to work for Eric Musselman as an assistant coach for the University Wolf Pack. His position with the men’s basketball team received a lot of support from Marc Johnson, the President of the UNR. After the first season Marc and Yanni both decided to go separate ways but first appeared together in the NCAA Division Tournament for Men’s Basketball in 2017. Mr. Hufnagel’s career has given him the experience and expertise required to be an amazing coach.
