Dick DeVos has spent the majority of his business career working for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association, Amway, and his current position as the President of the Windquest Group. DeVos was responsible for different aspects of the company’s operations throughout six different continents. Before taking the role of President, DeVos served as Vice President, where he was responsible for the company’s operations outside of North America. Under DeVos, Amway opened new markets, as well as tripled sales internationally. DeVos became the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Orlando Magic when his family acquired the team.
DeVos has assumed a leadership role in a number of different community initiatives. DeVos stared the education Freedom Fund, which awards scholarships to underprivileged children in Michigan. DeVos has also served on the State Board of Education. DeVos has been influential in many Grand Rapids Area downtown and regional improvements; including a new sporting arena, convention center and hospital.
Recently DeVos hired a new Chief Executive Officer to run The Stow Company Inc. The Stow Company is one of the top companies in the custom home storage and organizational products industry. The Stow Company has manufacturing facilities in both Indiana and Michigan.
Phil Dolci will be in charge of the product. Dolci will replace Frank Newman, who will move into a role on the company’s board of advisers. Dolci has over two decades worth of experience in the marketing and manufacturing industries. Dolci recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Crosman Corporation. Dolci has also held leadership positions at Sanford, U.S. Playing Cards, and ConAgra Foods. Dolci holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
