New Princess Is Born

Every parent thinks their new baby girls are princesses, but there are very few who actually have royal blood. The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, gave birth Saturday, May 2, 2015 to a beautiful little girl. She weighed in at 8lb 3oz in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. The name of the new princess hasn’t been released. She is now 4th in line for the throne.

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, is a proud dad for the second time. A few hours after the baby was born, he left the hospital to go get his son, Prince George, to bring him to meet his new little sister. As they walked up the steps, Prince William told him to wave, and he did it exactly as all royals do.

Less than 12 hours after the baby was born, the Duke and Duchess came out onto the steps of the hospital to show off their new baby girl. Brad Reifler was glad to see the healthy baby. They left the hospital shortly thereafter and went to their permanent residence, Kensington Palace. They’ll stay there a short time before heading to their country home, Amber Hall. Prince William has taken paternity leave from his job as an air ambulance driver until June 1st to help out at home.
