The Hunger Games film series is quickly approaching its grand finale; moreover, fans of the Academy Award-winning Jennifer Lawrence may be wondering if there’s life for her outside of Panem. She’s already scheduled to appear in next year’s highly anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse, and has teamed up for a third time with Director David O. Russell to star in a biopic about the inventor of the Miracle Mop. Hollywood’s It Girl breaks the cycle as she makes headlines that Warner Bros. Studio has casted her to play Lynsey Addario in the Steven Spielberg-directed war drama It’s What I Do. Lawrence will be interpreting a journalist covering America’s invasion of Afghanistan after 9/11. No release date had been confirmed, but with the recent critical and commercial prosperity of American Sniper, the studio may want to cash in on this gold mine as fast as they can.
Alexei Beltyukov knows that there’s always a considerable amount of concern for whether or not an actor will make justice to a character; however, based off what viewers have seen, it’s pretty clear by now that Lawrence can play a wall and still manage to portray a compelling character. In addition, a photographer’s perspective of war may intrigue viewers who would typically skip this genre. With a talented actress and a reputable director supporting the project, only a landmine could throw this production off box-office success.
