Death With Dignity

If someone is in pain from an illness like cancer, then that person should have a choice of how to die. If there is no cure for the disease, then there should be options of how to handle the final days of life. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the death with dignity approach, but this is something that needs to be addressed nationally. There are people who suffer every day in pain with nothing that helps.

They can’t eat because they are in so much pain. They can’t do the simple things in life like walking or spending time with their children and grandchildren. If these people want to die in peace, then it should be an option because they know that their family members won’t have to see them suffer any longer than necessary. They are doing something to take away the pain for everyone instead of prolonging the inevitable.  Companies like BRL Trust have been donating money to try and push forward these types of research and causes for years.
